Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

We have an amazing opportunity for an Interim Statutory Accountant to join our Finance team on a fixed term contract. Based in our London, Victoria Office this role reports directly to the Group Statutory Accountant. The role will be key in the coordination of the audit across the Group, including across various jurisdictions, and will require working with the external auditors to assist in providing requested deliverables and addressing any audit queries. In preparation for the year end this role will assist with balance sheet reconciliations and control across the Group.

You will be joining a solid team and working in a fun fast paced environment, with a diverse mix of stakeholders that have varying needs. Therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate high attention to detail, be self-motivated and be able to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role 

  • To excel in this role you would need to a qualified accountant (ideally either CFA or ACA) or equivalent, with proven work experience in a related position
  • A strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards would be advantageous
  • Significant work experience in large group and international audits
  • Naturally, you would have a high attention to detail and an organised approach
  • To enjoy this role, you would need to be approachable and personable
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of audit and financial statement preparation gained  within professional services or advisory firms, “ideally big four trained”
  • You would need to have intermediate skills with Microsoft packages – specifically Word and Excel (including pivot tables)


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on a fundamental role within the Finance team, who is keen to get involved in multiple tasks within an established growing international organisation, and provides amazing scope for both strategic and operational self-development.

Please note: This is a full-time, fixed term contract position initially, with a view of becoming permanent (subject to continued business needs). The job is expected to be office-based in Victoria, London as part of the Finance team with the option for flexible work arrangements.

What you get in return:
