Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our HR team on a full-time, permanent contract, based in our London, Victoria Office. Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner, UK this pivotal role will play a key part in providing administrative support to the HR department. This will include:

  • Writing employment contracts, contract extensions administration and leaver processes.
  • Ensuring the HR system accurately reflects current staff details including new starters, contractual amendments, change of details, resignation acknowledgement letters etc.
  • Owning the employee references checking process for all new starters.
  • Processing employee right to work checks including references and background checks i.e. security, criminal record checks.
  • Conducting inductions and exit interviews.
  • Monitoring absence records on the HR database highlighting absence issues to the relevant HR Business Partner.
  • Supports the wider HR and Payroll Team with other administrative tasks.

You will ensure that all queries are dealt with in line with the service level agreements, supporting with HR projects and will be required to support the Payroll team with processing the company payrolls. These processes are crucial to Moneycorp’s regulatory responsibilities, ensuring that the Group fulfils its statutory duties and functions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the entire HR team and have fantastic exposure to all areas of business. Therefore, we are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience as a HR Administrator or similar position and possess excellent attention to detail, communication skills (both written and oral), willing to learn, able to take the initiative and work in a fast pace environment.

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role 

  • Previous experience supporting a HR team or working in a highly administrative role in a fast paced environment.
  • Prior experience with data entry and processing confidential document changes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, stay calm and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Be highly organised, excellent at prioritising one’s work and able to multitask.
  • Able to demonstrate emotional intelligence, integrity and a high level of professionalism with a drive for excellence and quality.
  • Friendly individual who enjoys working in a team and able to nurture relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions and recommendations.
  • Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.
  • Proficient at using MS Office packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint or equivalent programmes.
  • Previous experience with payroll and/or recruitment activities.
  • Previous experience using a Recruitment ATS or HRIS system (Core HR highly desirable).
  • Hold a level 3 CIPD qualification (highly desirable).
