Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

We have an amazing opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Legal team on a permanent contract. Based in our London, Victoria Office this role report directly to the Head of Legal. The role will work with the Group Compliance department and Data Protection function in relation to regulatory requirements (including KYC) and how they pertain to contracts and other documentation reviewed by or produced by the Group Legal team and advising in which jurisdictions the Group is able to operate.

You will also negotiate contracts on behalf of the UK business and assisting the wider international Group functions with contract negotiation.

You will be joining an exciting team and working in a fun fast paced environment, with a diverse mix of stakeholders that have varying needs. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter as there is an opportunity to make an immediate and tangible impact and define how cost management will work across the Group.

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role 

  • To excel in this role you would need to be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Previous commercial legal experience is essential
  • An understanding of the financial services industry would be preferable
  • Naturally, you would have a high attention to detail and an organised approach
  • To enjoy this role, you would need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines whilst achieving set goals
  • The ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships across all levels, internally and externally (business partnering, stakeholder and third party vendor management)
  • Previous experience of cost management
  • You would need to be able to take minutes in meetings accurately


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on a fundamental role within the Legal team, who is keen to get involved in multiple tasks within an established growing international organisation, and provides amazing scope for both strategic and operational self-development.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position. The job is expected to be office-based in Victoria, London as part of the Finance team with the option for flexible work arrangements.
