Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our Strategic Projects Team. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be supporting delivery of Moneycorp’s change ambitions through the successful implementation of strategic programmes across the firm.

Your first engagement will be focused on implementation of Moneycorp’s Bank Strategy, which could include standing up and operationalizing UK and International Branches and or Subsidiaries of Moneycorp’s Gibraltar Bank. An understanding of Regulatory requirements, processes and procedures is a plus.

You will be expected to drive cross-functional collaboration, and be comfortable communicating at the Executive Level.  We are seeking a candidate with strong financial services experience, who understands the business needs, and will work with Projects Sponsors to successfully deliver project outcomes.  The candidate will be passionate about project delivery, is a self-starter and innovative in thought.

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role 

  • Experience of successfully completing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to implementation
  • Ability to lead a cross functional, distributed team to deliver successfully
  • Experience working with regulators such as PRA, FCA, GFSA
  • General understanding of operationalising a Bank
  • Experience of Payments Infrastructure
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work to aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to cope with high demand requirements of stakeholders
  • Logical, innovative, methodical, collaborative and thorough approach to work
  • Expertise in driving decisions and implementing operational plans
  • Collaborative team player who can influence outcomes as well as work independently;
  • Project Management Qualification and experience such Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt standard), AGILE
  • Proven experience setting up a Digital Bank
  • Previous Retail Bank experience

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is expected to be office-based in Victoria, London as part of the Strategic Projects team within the Programme Office.
